seed.

In the wake of the Trump election and inauguration, the women’s march became the largest single-day protest in US history. Since then, Women’s March has organized dozens of national events and has grown to include chapters all over the country. The organization describes itself as  a women-led movement providing intersectional education on a diverse range of issues and creating entry points for new grassroots activists & organizers to engage in their local communities through trainings, outreach programs and events.

grow.

On the horizon of the 2019 Women’s March, the organization’s website was neither user-friendly nor aesthetically reflective of the incredible work the women’s march had done over just two years. While it contained all of the information needed to attend the 2019 march and view previous events, the site needed a redesign to make the information and user experience accessible and streamlined. The re-design did just that. In addition, through crm integration and customization, the women’s march could seamlessly collect rsvps for the upcoming march right on the site (without users having to navigate to external pages to register). completed in 48 hours, the re-design launched the day before the 2019 women’s march.

harvest.

Within 12 hours, the site scaled to accommodate nearly 160,000 unique site visitors. The Women’s Agenda, which launched with the site and is the first intersectional feminist policy agenda of its kind, converted by 35% and to this date has been the most popular content on the site aside from the home page and the 2019 March page. The site has also driven traffic to donate at a rate that exceeds the average donation conversion rate for nonprofits.
